The view from my kitchen window
I have dozens of photos to upload to flickr.com from hiking Vermont's Mt. Mansfield yesterday morning, but until I get around to that, here is a shot of the view from my kitchen window earlier today. Say what you will about them damn Yankees, and chances are I've already said it multiple times, but the truth is you really can't beat a New England fall.

Makes me homesick for my years in Hartford, CT and Rochester, New York. There is nothing like autumn in New England!
gorgeous! I look out at a red tilted cliffs... not too bad either:)
how beautiful!! almost as gorgeous as our Idaho mountains :)
Beautiful...change, sometimes even for the better...how vivid will the trees be on November 4th?
Erin - Every bit as beautiful, as you'll see from my hiking photos whenever I get around to making that post. BUT, it's a different kind of beauty, and I agree, I like the North Idaho kind better. :)
Leonardo - completely bare and dead, just as all our souls will be from the constant negative campaigning. BUT, come January 20th, they will be pristine and covered in pure white snow, as beautiful as can be. :D
