July in DC

My God, it's muggy out there. In the hour since my post on Zimbabwe, I walked the ten minutes from the church office to Union Station for a late lunch - and it's almost enough to make me miss the April snows of Idaho or the frozen nosehairs of New Hampshire.

No, no, scratch that, it IS enough.

I had a wet cat that looked remarably like yours... and had that same facial expression, to boot!

I remember DC in the summer. Well portions of my memory were heat/humidity scorched, but there are some remaining memory fibers in there somewhere.

It is only 90 here today... gads.

Thankfully the forecast only calls for 83 today; not sure how muggy it will be...

DO NOT WANT!

My friend, The Goddess probably thought I needed a weather trial run for the NOLA trip because it was hotter and muggier here in DE before I left.
Upon the return on Sunday the temps here were 8 degrees hotter than when I left NOLA.
Just think, August is just around the corner. heh!

Oh, yes! I gave that one a 5-burger rating.
